Product description
The carboxyl group of Inulin-COOH can participate in coupling through activation esterification and click chemistry: Activation esterification: Under the action of chelating agents such as EDC/NHS, the carboxyl group forms amide bonds with primary amines (such as lysine residues in proteins) Click chemistry: If further modified to azide (- N3) or DBCO, efficient coupling can be achieved through copper free click reactions (such as SPAAC).
Application areas:
Drug delivery: As a carrier modified drug (such as anticancer agents), it is delivered to tumor tissue through PSMA targeting (if combined with DUPA) or passive targeting (such as EPR effect).
Biomarker: Carboxyl groups can be linked to fluorescent dyes (such as ICG COOH) or biotin for cell imaging or detection.
Tissue engineering: coupling with collagen or growth factors to promote the biological activity of scaffold materials.
